LOYAL ABBOTSFORD LODGE
Juvenile Branch Meeting WAIPAWA, Thia Day. The fortnightly meeting of "the juvenile braneh of the Loyal Abbotsford Lodge, Manchester Unity Oddfellows, was held last evening, N.G. bister B. Pedersen presiding over a rge attendance of members. One new lember was initiated. The fotyowing sick visitors were appointed: — Sisters G. Humphries and M, \lcCleary, and Bros. B. Clayton and G. Pedersen. A letter was received from Sister P. McQuilkan, resigning from office on account of sickness. — A letter is to be sent wishing Sister McQuilUan a speedv recovery. Arrangements were made for the lodge to hold a bonfire on Guy Fawkes* night. At the conclusion of the business a most entertaining musical programme was presented, items being contributed by the following:— Cara Booker, song; 3ST. McKay, recitation; H. IStrang, piano; Kea Booker, violin solo; Mary McLean, piano; Joyce Booth, tap dance and recitation; j. Smith, violin solo; Cara Booker, recitation ; Joyce Boult and party, song; M. Avison, recitation; M, Booth, tap dance; W. Vinton, recitation; B. Pedersen, commuuity sing. As a token of appreciation of the services rendered to the lodge by Superintendent Bro. J. Cable, ' and Sister Cable, Sister B. Pedersen, on behalf of the members, presented to Bro. Cable a small gift for their infaut daughter. Bro. Cable expressed deep approdntion of the thought which had promptod the members to make the presentation. Supper was served by members of the adults committee.-
