Total, 2.09 inches." f The maximum temperature, * in the I sereen, was 74.6 degrees, tha mean j inaximum being. 63 degress,- and the j iowest minimUm was 32 degrees with a mean mimiinum of -43 degrees. The lowest grass recording was 5 24 degrees and mean grass temperaturje was 35.4 degrees. The range of temperature for j the month was 20 degrees and the I mean temperature 53 degrees. There were 10 frosts recorded during the period under review. Pretvailing winds were N.N.ES. on I six days, E.S.E. on five days} S on 13 J days and W.S.W. on seven. GLENCOE RECOEDINGS. A total of 2.40 inches was recorded by Mr L. Maclean, of Glencoe Station, last monht, this being almost half-an-inch less ^ than during Oetober of last year.
