Vital Statistics for Past Month deaths and marriages rise
Onc^ again there has been an allround. inerease in the vital statistics for the Hastings district for the past month ccmpared with those for Oetober of last year. The increases are substantial, particularly as regards the number of births, while marriages show a 70 per cent. increase. _ " Details of the statistics, as supplied. by Mr W. M. Will, Registrar of Births, Deaths and Marriages, in Hastings are as follow: —
Births: 1936, 29; 1937, 42; an increase of 13. Deaths, 1936, 13; 1937, 18; an increase of five. " - Marriages: 1936, 10; 1937/17; an increase of seven.
