General inference: A shallow westerjy depression crossed the Dominion last night and is being followed by some slight secondarieB. An anti-cyclone of considerable intensity is advancing across the central Tasman Sea. Torecast: West to southerly winds - prevailing, light to moderate mainly freshening at times. Weather: For the moat part fair to fine, but a few isolated showers are probahle. Cold night temperatures, with some frosts inland. THE SUN.
