SELF-DENIAL APPEAL

Tho self-denial appeal for 1937 made by the Salvation Army elosed with the holding of a "street day" on Saturday. The dhy's collection realised the eum of £22 13/- and the 'whole appeal for the Hastings -district £481, an increase of £15 on last yeax's tbtal. The corps ofBcers, Major Marshall and Major Wheeler, who were xesponsible for organi-sing the appeal, wish to thank the many friends who have assisted so willingly in raisipg this amoant.
