LITTLE THEATRE PLAY
"Antony and Anna/' the highly(successful long-rnn London play hy St. John Ervine, will be preesnted by the Hawke's Bay Little Theatre Society at the Hastings Munieipal Theatre on Wednesday, November 24. It will he the society 's last production for the 1937 season. This play, a modern satire on the idiosyncrasies of English and American hahits, cleverly interprets the vagaries of attitudes towards each other, and the dialogue of scintaillp-ting wit .provides continuous amusement as well as subtle reflection on modern life and sophistication. The cast, largely new to Hastings, introduces experience derived from New Zealand and overseas. Under the direction of Mr. Leon Fail the cast is working enthusiastically to perfect the production in every detail. This, with the interest provided by a vivacious and audacious plot, promises first-rate entertainment.
