GUY FAWKE'S DAY
Procesiion Organised By "Uncle Ed." . Fireworks to tho value of £5 have been donated to "Uncle Ed." of 2ZL, Hastings, for the purpose of holding another Guy Fawke's procession in Hastings this year, and it will take place on Wednesday night next, the procession leaving Nelson street corner at 7 p.m., for a vacant section in Queen street, where the "guys" will be judged. It will be remembered that there were about 70 "guys" in last year's procession, and it is expected that there will be equally as many this year, particularly in view of the value of the prizes. There is no entry fee, and the prizes will be as follows; 1st, 25/worth of firewotks; 2nd, 15/- worth; 3rd, 7,/6 worth, "and lireworks to the value of 5/- for the uext best three entries. In addition to this, the balance of the money will be divided among the other entries, so that all who take part will receive a prizc.
