(Received 3, 12.50 p.m.) MELBOURNE, Oct. 30. Yielding to representations made by various tradeg and labour councils^ the inter-Stato executivo of the Australian Council of Trade Unions decided to institute a boycott against purchases of Japanese goods beeause of the aftack by Japan on China. It is probable that the boycott will have a fa,r-reaching effect among Aus- : tralian unions, as members of the Watereide Workers? Federation in various ports might now xefuse to handle Japanese goods.
