MAROONED FISHERMEN
Ruisians Trapped by Ice gLANES LEAVE TO AID THEM (Received 30, 10.50 a.m.) MOSCOW, Oct. 29. Three planes and dog oleighs are racing to the rescue of 28 fishermen who have been lost for a month in the frozen Gulf of Ob. Eskimos last week picked up seven half-frozen fishermen on the shore of the gulf, where they collapsed after a trek from their boats, which are trapped in ice-packs. Two others were sighted from the shore drifting on an ice-floe. The fate of the othere is unknown.
