JTOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the undermen tioned streets have been declared to be stock routes, for the driving of stock (excluding horses), ia the Borough of Hastings, viz.:— Norton Ro^— from Havelock Road ,to Copeland Eoad; Copeland Road — from Norton Road to Biverslea Road; Riverslea Road — ffom Copeland Road to Murdock Eoad; Murdock Eoad — from Biverslea Eoad to Southland Road and along Southland Road to its Intersection with Wall Road; Wall Ro&d — from Southland Eoad to Maraekakaho Eoad; Maraekakaho Eoad— from Wall Eoad to Heretaunga Street and along Heretaunga Street to its intersection with Pakowhai Eoad; Pakowhai Eoad— from Heretaunga Street to Williams Street; Williams Street — from Pakowhai Eoad to Tompana Road. The >. driving of stock (excluding horses) is totally prohibited in the following streets: — Heretaunga Street — between Willowpark Road and Nelson Street; Russell Street — between Eastbourne Street and Queen Street; Queen Street — between Russell Street and Warren Street; Karamu Road — between Avenue Road and Eastbourne Street; Market Street —between Queen Street and Eastbourne Street. The driving of stock (excluding horses) is permitted in the undermentioned streets, between the hour of sunrise and 8.0 a.m., and between the hours of 5.0 p.m. and 6.0 p.m., provided each animal so driven is on the leash: — No. 1 DISTRICT.— Subject to the prohibitions referred to above, all streets in the No. 1 District of the Borough, as defined in clailse 172 of By-law No. 1, 1933. NELSON STREET.— (Except that portion thereof to the North of Frederick Stredt). TOMOANA EOAD. FEEDERICK STREET.— From Nelson Street to Pakowhai Eoad. GORDON ROAD. SELWOOD EOAD. — From Heretaunga Street to Louis Street. HOESES. — It shall not be lawiul to take any horse or horses , upon any street in the Borough of Hastings, unless under continuous control by means of head-stall or halter, and then only when in charge of some compelent person. NOTICE is also hereby given that the foregoing conditions govermng the driving of stock and horses in the Borough of Hastings, must be rigidly adhered to by all persons concerned. NOEL C.
