The New History Society annouuced that Ian MacKay, Station 2ZB, Wellington, had won the New Zealand and Australian coatinental prizo of 200 dollars in its essay competition. Eudolph Baeyertz (Auckland) won the nationul New Zealand prize of 50 dolfars. New Zcalanders, who submitted 35 papers, received six honournble mentions. i
