§ At Tlie Oratory, Brompton, this affcernoon, Mr. Geoffrey Manners Cav.endish, son of the late Mr. Tyrell Cavendish and Alrs. Cavendish, of Grakeinarsh Hall, Ottoxeter, Staft's., -was married to Miss Cecilia ITrances Patricia Bharazyn, daughter of Mr. and AU's. G odfrey Pliarazyn, of Waewaepa, Oannevirko (writeg the London repreSentgtive .of the EVening Post on October 9). Thq Oratory m iis decorated with artistic taste in the modern style of tall pedestals, graduated in* size. There wero eight of tbese holders, filled with flowerg of rose-pink, pale mauve, and white, intermjngled with crimson foliage. Mr. Pharazyn escorted the bride, whp jvore a graceful dress of parchment velvet, xnade in medieval style, %ith a siiver girdle. A tiara-shaped headdress of oranga blossom held in place the tulle veil which was trimmed at the gdge with orange-flower wreaths. Two ropes of pearls' and a diamond watch were her ornaments, and miniature arum lilies formed her sprav bouquet. immedia.tely following were four small pages, .dressed in cream silk. They were Richard Westmacott and Peter Pharazyn (nephews of the bride) and Michael Holmes and William Barton Goring (her cousins). The four bridesmaids were Miss Katlileen Cam,eron (of Glendhu), Miss Betty Bragg (of Hawkehurch, JDevon), Miss Nancy Pieldhouse (of Shipton Manor, Andoversford, Gloucester), and Miss Ann Greenshields (daughter of Captain and Mrs. Greenshields, of Malpas, Cheshire). They wore dresses of a beautiful deep cyclamen ghade of velvet, with lace collars and plaited velvet headdressea of thef same velvet. JSach carried a spray bouquet of pink tiger lilies and mauvq scabious. Mr. Henry g>. Cavendish (brother) was best man, and the groomsmen. were Mr. David Pharazyn, Mr. J. de Breton Hommand, Mr. Charles Hall, Mr. Leslie Pritchard, Mr. Tony Carter, IMr. Oolin Clark, Mr. Hugh Caonpbell, Mr. P. Huth, Mr. John Gray, and Mr. John Page-Blair, The Bev, Pather Woodruffe performed the ceremony. The organist played suitable slections before the service and at itg close. Mrs. Pharazyn, held a reception at 23 Enightgbridge, where the iiorai decprations were very artjstic. Her ipng dress was of gfntian blue, with
oecoming bat to correspond, and diamond oruaments, Mrs. Cavendish selected an ensemble in deep wine shade, with liat to niatch, Guests present included Sir Poster ahd Lady Goring, Mr. and Mrs. Pafc l)ennis, Countess of Gainsborough, Mrs. ltolleston, Miss Enid Bell, Miss Vansittart, Alrs Cara fox, Mr, Michael Grace, Lady Hopkinson, Mrs. Cameron, Miss Herrick, the Hon. Mrs. King, Captain and Mrs. Howard Kerr, Sir Percy and Lady Laurie, Miss ElizabjCth Morgan, Sir {Byron and Lady Peters, Captain and Mrs. Nigel Poett, Sii- Philip Reckitt, Noel, Countess of Rothes, Colonel Macfee, Mrs. Stannus, Lord Sudley, Miss St. Hill, Miss Margaret Malfroy, Later the bride and bridegroom lei't for Paris to connect with' the "BJue" train for the Rjviera. The bride went away in a dress and coat of ohve green trimmed with brown fox fur, and hat to match. They received numerous choice presents. The bridegroom gave hig bride a diamond and ruby brooch and diamond wedding ring, The future residences will be in Carlisle Place, London, and at Orakemarsh Hall, Staffa,
