Von Cramm Not Coming to N.Z. BUDGE AND MAKO MAY

WELLINGTON, Last Night. The secretary of the New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association, Mr H. N. Burns, has .announced that the North Island championships will be playedat New Plymouth from January 5 to 8 and that the South Island championship will be played at Dunedin at Easter, on hard courts. He also said there was very little chance of getting Baron von Oramm, who is visiting Australia this season, to play in New Zealand. Efforts will be made, however^ to get Budge and Mako, who are also visiting Australia, to play exhibition matches in New Zealand.
