AUGKLAND, Last Night. Beef values wero quoted firm for the tenth successive week at the. Westfield stock market to-day. The yarding was smaller than that of last week, fow heavyweights beipg sold. Cow quality was generally inferior, Extra choice ox sold to 41/- per lGOlb,, choice and primo 37/- to 40/-, unfiniehed 31/- to 36/-J prime cow and heifer beef 37/- to 40/-, unfinished 27/- to 37/-. Extra heavy steers ranged from £16 10/- to £17 10/-, heavy £15 10/- to £16 7/6, medium £13 10/- to £15 12/6, light £11 10/- to £13 17/6, unfinished £9 to £11 15/-, extra heavy eows and heifers £10 10/- to £12 15/-, heavy £9 10/- to £11 5/-, medium £7° 10/- to £9 15/-, light £6 to £8 7/6, unfinished £2 10/- to £6 10/-. Fewer sheep were traded at easier rates, wethers and ewes being about 1/6 cheaper, makiog the decline for the latter approximately 5/- in two weeks. Heavy aad woolly sheep wero scarce, the best wethers making to 38/-, medium 33/- to 36/-, light 30/- to 32/6, heavy, shbrn, 28/- to 33/-, medium 26/to 31/6, light 24/- to 28/-,' unfiaisbed 21/3 to 26/-, extra heavy shorn ewee 22/- to 25/-, hlavy 20/- to 23/6, light 17/6 to 21/9, unfinished 7/- to '20/-, prime shorn hoggets 20/- to 29/6, spring lambs 15/- to 32/9. An average entry of calves included mostly small vealers and young calves. Heavy mnners were sqarce. Quotations for all classes were firm. RUnners made from £3 4/- to £9 6/-, heavy vealers £5 to £6 4/-, medium £4 4/- to £4 18/-, light £3 3/- to £4 3/-, smaller £3 5/- to £3 2/-, unfinished 15/- to> 38/-, bbbby and rough 7/- to 28/-. A smaller ofiering of pigs consisted lat'gely of prime baconers, heavy sorts easing by about 2/- a head. All otner elasses were fully firm, Choppers mado from £2 to £4 5/-, heavy baconers £4 1/to £4 8/-, medium £3 14/- to £4, light £3 5/- to £3 10/-, heavy porkers £2 18/to £3 3/-, medium £3 8/- to £2 15/-, light £2 2/- to £2 7/-^ unfinished £1 12/to £2, stores £1 16/- to £2 4/-, slips £1 3/- to £1 15/-, weaners 10/- to £1 7/-. Baconers averaged 6Jd to 6£d per lb, and porkors 7d per lb.
