£400 Still Required A meeting of the buildJfig fund committee of the Boy Scout movement in Hastings was field last evening and it was deeided to make an organised canvass for donations towards the cost of erecting the community Scouts' hall, for which approximately £400 is required. It was reported that at the Spring Show last week the Scouts had a tent where they looked after parcels and took eharge of lost children. Shifts were worked» by the boys xight througli the show. Two voluntary donations of £l each were received towards the hutbuilding fund. To-morrow evening, at St. Matthew's hall. the Scouts and Cubs liavo arranged an exhibition of handicrafts and this will be followed by a lantern lectnr'e by Commissioner J. R. H. Cooksey.
