STOLEN PLANS
British Major Fined For Want of Care reueved of appointment (Received 28, 1.40 p.m.) LONDON, Oct. 27. For having sedret documents in his possession which he had fio right to retain, and for failing to take reasonable care of them, Major Wilfred Foulston Vernon, civil servant employed by the Air Ministry, was fined £50. Major Vernon, who was on holidays, left documents relating to new aeroplanes, bombing and so forth, in a bungaiow, which was burgled. The documents were later recovered.
