LAUNDRY : As your letter deals with the internal affairs of the Labour Party in Hawke's Bay, and the party 's relationship with Mr Lowe, we must decline to publish it. The circumstances in which certain persons might have been expelled from the party cannot with propriety be discussed in the columns of a daily newspaper.
DOUBTFUL: There has been no advance in the wagos of station hands from £2 2/6 to £2 5/-. The present scale came into operation on sheep-lstations on May 1 last and on dairy-farms on Oetober 1 last.
