Carpenter Remanded for Sentence Altering his plea at the last niomenl to "guilty" in the Supreme Court at Napier this morning, John William MeClure, a carpenter, age.d 59, was remanded for sentence . until Friday morning on eharges of escaping from custodyt and breaking and entering and. theft at Wairoa. Mr Justice Ostler will sentence Mc- . Clure on two cliarges of breaking and' entering and theft, to which he had previously pleaded guilty.
