Woman's Death as Result qI Injuries The deftth occurred jn a private hospital in Hastings yeStqrday of Mrs. Emily Handyside, of Invercargill, who was on a viajt to friends at Havelock North. On ^ctober 10 la«t Mrs. Handyside, who is 70 years of age, slipped in the bathroom aud fell heavily against the bath causing sevqre injury tq the side and othqr parts of the body. 8he was taken to hospital and early yesterday mortipg it was considered advisable for lier to undergo an operation, However, shortly afterwards death occurred.
