Theft of Goods from Hairdressers A thble in the detective officei at the hastings Police Station yesterday bore a striking resemblance to tho counter of a tobacconist 's saloon, thera being a big quantity of tobacco, cigarettes . and other miscellaneous articles and preparations staeked up in neat piles, The display was. the "loot" that had been §tolen from the shop of Mr Williaxn H. Plummer, of Heretaunga street a week ago, and had 'been recovered by the police during the ; week-end. The stolen property had been found by a party of children in the Joll road dump and "obvionsly had been concealed there some days ago.
