Hastings Homing Club The Hastings Homing Club flew their first Petone race on Saturday against a strong head wind. The birds were liberated by Mr Bolton at Petone at 9 a.m. and the winning bird owned by Mr L. Harrison flew the distance 150 miles in 4hrs. 18min. 38seo. Hesnlts: L. Harrison's B.C.C. Greek Go]d 1035.5 yards per minute; L, Harrison's B.C.P.H. Snowflake 1031.6 y.p.m. ; L. Harrison's B.C.C. Sunie 1030.6 y.p.m ; C. Martin's B.C.C. No. 516, 1007.1 y.p.m. ' Other lofts competing were Messrs L. Smith, W. B. Wallace and A. Harrison.
