Whole Truth

J. S.

HANNAH.

Sir, — I assume that 1 am the person to whom Mr. Lowe refers' as having Written the letter signed "Toleration " lt is true that 1 have been expelled. from' the Labour Party but Mr. Lowe knows that this has been the experience of at least one other person to whom this applies. Sir, 1 can assure Mr. Lowe, or anybody else, that I did not write the letter signed "Toleration;" Does it make any difference as to who wrote the -letter providing "the writer gives facts or states his honest contentiona." In reference to Mr. Lowe's tarradiddle about some whose aims and purposes- are not in line with equal righta to, everyone, I would like to point out that some people ffave' very strange ideas of what canstitutes equal rights The constitution of the Labouf Party definitely lays down that none of its members can belong to any other political party, yet strange as it may seem a certain member of the party, when the Labour movement was at its lowest ebb, . joined up with the New Zealand Legion, wlile still a member of the Labour Party. However, Sir, befofe concluding I would like to point out that even though Mr. Lowe hits at me I am not a squealer, an"d I am not ashamed of the reason for .which 1 was expelled. No, Sir, there is no denying the fnctthat even the dullest member of the Labour Party is beeoming conscious that there exists to-day a party within the Party whose principals are not in keeping with those of the Labour Platform.— .Yours, etc.,
