.Wall Street Buoyancy (Received 23, 8.45 a.m.) NEW YORK, October 22. Although trading was slower to-day the "stock market was ' most active, 3,640,000 shares changing hands. Many closed at one to four points higher. Prices receded after the brisk opening, but' recovered in the final hour.
