"We Must Not Let These People Contaminate Our Children^

CHRISTCHURCH, Last Night. "This peace business has gone too far. We must not let these peace people contaminate our children," declared Mr. W. A. Banks at a meeting of the Canterbury Education Board to-day. Mr. Banks was moving a resolution seeking to rescind a previous decision of the board allowing the World Peace League to distribute its literature to schools in the Canterbury district. After an liour's heated discussion Mr Binks's motion was lost, tive members voting for it and six against. 'J he league may now distribute its literature subject to the approval of school committees.
