Grateful Subscriber's Lettcr To C.H.B. Board
From
WAIPUKURAU, Last Night. Deep gratitude to the Central H.B. Power Board for having extended its services to lier district was expressed by a country resident in a letter which ehe wrote to Mr G. E. Fowler, the Board's secretary-manager. "Just a line to thank you and Mr Beer, and all the Power Board, your foreman, and your rnen for giving us the power,'' read the letter. "I must also tell you that your men are gentlemen and you need never be afraid to send them to board in any home. If you only knew -what we have suffered all these years and what a comfort it is to us now your board would never keep any more people from it that are in reach of it. If you only knew the curses that have been on your heads you would wonder, but now if you could only liear all the nice thmgs we say you would be pleased. So thank you once again." The letter was "received."
