PRAYER
Giver oi all good, make us more grateful for the ordinary blessings oi every-doy life. May we pray "Give us tliis day our daily bread," With oiir hearts l'ull of recognition for the mercies Ave find around us each morning, and of quiet trust and cohfidence that Thou ivilt continue to provide for us. And if Thou shouldn'st Bee fit to withhold any of the blessings to which we have become aceustomed, may we be still and know that Thou art God, know that as a father will provide all that is necessary for his children, so our God will supply all that we truly need. We would theiefore only ask Thee to take us under Thy proteetion this day. And not only us, but all those for wiiohi we would wish, or ought, to pray. Especially wateh over those who either forget or care not to pray. Pardon their neglect, awaken their consciences, and sliow them Thyself.
