Statement for September Estates of a value of £470,585 were reported and aceepted for administration by the -Pubiic Trustee during the month of September, 1937, compared with £461,614 for September, 1936. The total value of the estates under administration by the Pubiic Trustee on Mareh 31, 1937, was £60,770,814 and the new business for the six months ended Sfeptember 30, 1937, was £2,973,759 compared with £2,910,296 for th© corresponding period last year. Grants of administration made by the Court in favour of the Pubiic Trustee number 146 for the month. During the month 403 new wills appointing the Pubiic Trustee executor were prepared on behalf of testators and lodged for safe custody, and 322 existing wills 'were revised to providff for changes desired by testators. The total number of wills now held in tbe Pubiic Trust Office on behalf of living persons is 89,476.
