fFrom

Tucker, of Whakatu, gave an interesting address on wool-scouring, and dealt with various phases of processing of the wool. He qtioted figures of actual returns to show that it paid handsomely to scour second pieces, bellies and dirty and dingy wool. Mr Tucker touched on shed management at shearing time, and complimented the farmers of the district on the care they took in preparing their wool for the market. He stated that the lustre of the wool from, this district was well known, few localitiea being in the same category, and in his opinion this fact, coupled with good shed management, made the clips "A1 at Lloyds." ' Af the conclusion of his address Mr Tucker answered a number of questions., A hearty vote of thanks was passed to Mr Tucker for his address.
