Mceting of Hastings Comraittee A meeting of the Hastings committee of tho Hawke's Bay War Relief Assoeiation was held ou Tuesday. Present: Messrs F. J. Hull (in the chair), L. J. Mackersey and P. J. P^iest. Leave of absence was granted to Messra W. Hart and F. Perrin. Forty-eight rcturned soldiers cases wero considered and assistunce was granted in various ways including grants araounting £40 3/- and recommendations were made to the provincial executive of the associatiJn, that ' further grants and loans, amounting I to £75, be made.
