"PEINOE AND THE PAUPEB." History, romance and adventure are combined" in the Warner Bros.' film version of Mark Twain 's immortal "The Prince and the Paupera" which screens at the Eegent Thoatre tonight. Former stage presentations of the elassic have been bampered sometvhat by the necessity of having the two title roles played by one actor (or actress). And in the silent film version, trick "shots" and double espoaures were used. But the Mauch twins, Biily and Bobby, twelve-year-old actors of no mean dramatic ability, have solVed that problem. Billy and Bobby aro ideutiCal twins, so what coull be more fitting than tbat Bobby sbould play young Prince Edward, heir to the Tkrone of King Henry VTIL, and that Billy (whom you will remember as young "Anthony Adverse") ahould play Tom Canty, the paper boy who looked esactly like the Prince t All the colour and drama of aixteenth century England is brought to life on the screen, and the magnificent GOrOnation scene in which the paper boy^ whd has exchanged identities with the Prince is almost crowned King df England, ie oue of the most dramatic screen moments of reeeiit years. Miles Hendon, soldief of fortune and befriender of the tWo boys, is splendidly portrayed by Errol Flynn, f resh from his triumphs in 1 ' The Charge of the Light Brigade" and "Green Light."
