A FAMOUS TRIO

Baillie Motors' - Display at the Show cars and trucks What can be said to be one of the most successful first year's business enterprise has just been completed by Baillie Motors Ltd. From their beadquarters, the up-to-date garage next to the Municipal Theatre, Vauxhall and Pontiac cars, and Bedford trucks have been dispatched to new pwners with a more than usual return of expressed satisfaction. Still nnore gratifying have been the results attained from owner-recommendation, ' and increasing popularity in this famous trio has compelled Baillie Motors to plan saies well ahead to meet demands for the new niodels, examples of whieh may be seen at Baillie Motors stand at the Hawke's Bay Show. Tho Show display sponsored. by this organisation will include the latest models of tho Vauxhall 25 h.p. touring saloon; tho Vauxhall 14 h.p. light six saloons in a variety of types and colours and the Pontiac touring sedan. Iu the commercial vehicle section there will be shown a modern baker's express delivery on the 8cwt. Bedford chassis, the Bedford express wellsido, and several heavy-duty Be'dfords including the 2J-ton chassig and cab, and the 3-4 ton Bedford, both notable for thcir particular suitability for live-stock cartage and general heavy-duty work. An interesting feature in regard to the association of the two widely-known trademarks— Vauxhall and Bedford — is the fact that both these units are manufactured by Vauxhall Motors — an old motor-car cnanufactory with an English indentity dating back to 1903 — at Luton, Bedfordshire. Two smaller displays under Baillie Motors' large marquee will be a cutsection of the Vauxhall independent front suspension unit — now commonly known as "knee-action" — wherein lies the secret of "the ride being changed to a glide." A comprehensive range of modern motor-car accessories, both useful and particularly oruamental, complete an attractive display in the Vauxhall-Bedford-Pontiac section. The motorist is, or shoul-d be, a sound critic of service and those who have availed theniselves of the Baillie Motors service facilities are convinced of the precision in quality and workmanship whieh this popular garage offers, also of their promptitude and courtesy in fulfilling orders. Moreover,' there is always a number of completely reeonditioned used cars, obtainable at the -most reasonable prices. A call at their garage will satisfy all intending purehasers of the completeness and ease with which saies enquiries are met. — (P.B.A.). i
