(By Teleeraoh-

WELLINGTON, Last Night. -. The administration of the commercial broadcasting service is to be separaited from the nationfil broad-, casting service by amending legislation which is expected to be intro-| duced in the House of Eepresent-i atives to-morrow. An announcement to this effect was made by Mr Savage tonight. The director of broadcasting, Professor J, Shelley, would retain his position in control of the national broadcasting service and the controller of commercial broadcasting, Mr C. G. Scrimgeour, would be chief administrative officer for the cofflmercial service. The Prime Minister said in certain respects the Bill would be retrospective in its application and would provide that the term of the controller of commercial broadcasting would be for three years. In Mr Scrimgeour 's case that would date from his assumption of the position toward the end of last year. "The Bill is a very short measure," said Mr Savage. 4 4 There is no provision in it for the erection of additional commercial station's."
