INCREASED REVENUE
Hawke's Bay Electric Power Board The satisfactory position of having exceeded the revenue estimates for the lirst half of the year, and kept well within the estimate of expenditure is that in which the Hawke's Bay Electric Power Board finds ifcself, according to a report on the workings for the six months ended on September 30, presented to the "board meeting yesterday by the secretary-manager, Mr H. H. Wylie. Revenue for the period exceeds half the annual estimate by £1,338, and estimates exceed expenditure by £729. "The statement show a profit of £3142 compared with £2065 last year," stated Mr Wylie. "For comparative purposes the figuTes are also shown for the same period 1-jst year. "During the next six months, tho charges for. materials, wages, and transport will be increased, as more maintenancc work will be done during the summer months." Following is a comparison of revenue with one half of the annual estimates:
