HAVELOCK CHURCH "SHOP"
All Stalls Sold Oat A successful "shap" in aid of niissions work was held by the ladies of the Presbyterian Church) Havelock North, on Saturday, when a satisfactory result was obtained, all the stalls being sold out. Stalls wero conducted "by the following ladies: — Sewing stall, Mesdames Davidson, Joll and Marshall; cakes, Mesdames MaeLennan, de Montalk and Miss Couper; plants and sweets, Misses Mossman, Waugh and Sanson; jjroduce, Mesdames "Webb and Coolc; tea, Mesdames Itich and Miller; jumble, Mrs Heenan. The baking compcliUon; organised by Mesdames Eridgmau and Iloneybun aud judged by Mrs McLeod, altracted excellent entrics. Tho points prize, donated by Mrs Goldlin-ch, was won by Mrs Faleoner, whilo tho other prizcs, donated by Mrs Bridgman, wero won as follows: — Scones, Mrs II. Miller; pikolets, Mrs Heenan; gems, Mrs liiggir; shortbread, Miss Cross and Miss Linlclater plain sponge^ Mrs James; butter sponge, Mr6 Falconer; sultana caks. Mrs Jb'alconer; iseed calce, Mrs de Montalk; madeira eake, Mrs Liiggir; maruia lade, Mrs Angus; fruit pie, itrs DuU.% senr.; jam tarts, ^lrs Duke, senr.
