DUNEDIN, This Day. Tho death has . occurred of Mrs Marion Allen, aged 93, who landed with her patents at Port Chalmers from the ship Phillips Laing in 1848. A largc part of Eer life was spent in Waimate and she xeturned hcre on her husband 's death in 1911. Therc are now only 2 survivors of this immigrant ship.
