REMINDERS
The Hastings Chamber of Commerce will meet this evening at 7.30 o'clock An address on matters of interest to employers will be delivered by Mr K McLeay. The public are invited by the Hastings Free Kindergartcn Assoeiation to a&sist the association by patronising the doll stall in the produce shed at the A. and P. Show. The Popoia model Maori pa will be presented to the Hawke's Bay Museum to-morrow night a 8. All are invited to attend. After Miss Herrick has presented the model on belialf of tbe Qirl Guides 6f Poverty Bay, the Rt. Rev. Bishop F. A. Benuett will give an address on Maori pas. The Rt. Rev. Bishop- Williams will preside. The offices of solicitors in Hastings will be closed on Wednesday. October 20, from 1 p.m. and the officers of solicitors both in Napier and Hastings will be closed all day on Tbursday, October 21, the people's day of the Hawke's Bay Spring Show. The Post and Telegraph Department announces by advertisement in this issue, that . October 26 is the closing date for new and amended listings in the next issue of the telephone directofy (December, 1937, edition).
