J. Delaney, well known AusLialian showman, who was toui'ing Africa at that time, and only after promising to return Ubangi to her tribe, dead or alive, within two years, would her parents consent to her dep&fttife. Speciai passport arrangements had to be made and £300 was lodged in bondS with the various South Affican authoritles whilst bonds of £100 each are lodged with the Australian and New Zealand Governmcnts.
