RUAKITURI INSTITUTE
A description of a visit to Tongariro National Park was given by Mrs Evans at the monthly meeting of the Ruakituri Women's Institute. Two visitors, Miss W. McLean, of Otoko, and Miss .P. Groone, of Poverty Bay, wero wclcomed. The delegate, Miss Spence, guva a report of the Poverty Bay Federation's half-yearly council meeting in Wairoa. Mrs Mairs was appointed oilieer for the Poverty Bay Federation exhibition of work next year. Several energetic members arranged to bold a spring-cleaning and gardening bee at the institute liall in the near future, all members being asked to attend.
