■ * ■ - Miss Joyce Corskie, who is leaving Waipawa to take up residence in Napier^ was 'farewelled by members of the Guild and Bible CJass at the Presbyterian Manse, Waipawa. Mrs Robertson presented the guest with a crystpl powder bowl. Advantage was also taken of the opportunity to farewell Miss Madge White and to make hor a presentation. Miss Corskie was also pre? sented with a crystal tray by the members of the Presbyterian Choir, the presentation being made by Mrs Purminger. Mr Ken Staiger, who has been attttched(!to the staff of the Norsewood Post Office for several years, has been transferred to the Tirau office in the. Hamilton Postal district. Socially Mr Staiger has been prominent, and in the post office he has been known as a. most obliging officer. A public farewell dance is to be held in his honour before he leaves. Mr A. E. Olsen, .of the taki Post Office, has been transferred to the Norsewood office, and has begun his dutieaMrs Cheer, of Waipawa, and Mr G. Packer, of Turakina, are the guests of Mr and Mrs G. S. Chapman, Or mondville.
