At the Elsthorpe Women 's Institute monthly meeting Mrs C. WilliaiHs presided over a small attendance of members. The golden-thread talk for the month was given by Mrs A. Dillon, who Spoke on Italy. The competitions for the month. resulted as follow: Three tulips, Mrs A. Williama 1 and 3, Mrs B. Williams 2, Mrs E. Nuttall 4; bestbottled tomatoes, Mrs J. Bruce 1, Ali-s E. Nuttall 2.
