WORLD WONDERS AT SHOW

Mr. Arthur Greenhalgh, tlie much travelled and front-rank showman, is agaiii in Hawke's Bay after an extensive tour of the world in quest of wonders for show purposes. He has brouglit with him Princess Pontues, the Ama* zon giantess, and several other attrac* tions. The giant Amazonian is the last of that famous tribe of head hunters from Brazil, South America, and she is 8 feet 2 inehes tall and weighs 48 stone. The princess will 'be on exhibition at the Hastings Sliow, commencing Wecnesday, October 20, and she has a store of entertainment for those who will see her. She talks interestingly of her experiences among the tribes of Amazons. An added attraction in the samo marquee is Isom, the smallest .pigmy from South Africa. His programme includes eating fire, walking on#jagged pieces of glass and other sensational feats. • Another of Mr. Greenlialgh 's novelty attractions is "Dollita," claimed to be America 's smallest womau. The little lady is u ininiature of Mne West from Hollywood. She has a charming porsonality. "Dollita" has just i'ulfilled her special engagements in Australia, and ar*# rived in Kew Zealand to-dny. Amongst the new attrnction3 presentcd by Greenlialgh and Jackson at the show will be Marjorie Yan Camp and her wonderful trained pigs. The pigs will be seen in an interesting array of tricks featuring a two-round bout in a miniature ring by "Dempsey" and "Tunny," champion pig fightors. This famous American lady pigTtraincr is showing here for the first time, having just arrived from Australia. Another famous Greonhalgh and Jackson feature attraction tlie sensational Americaif skaters, Rex and Roma Roff, 1936 Olympic champions, who are suro to provo oue of tho highlights of thia year's show.
