AUCKLAND., Last Night. At an inquest to-day new light was thrown on the cause of the death of Mrs Elsie Patricia Metge, disposing of any suggestion of suieide. The circumstances previously reported were that on Oetober 5 Mrs Metge telephoned her husband at his work and said, "I am last; I am lost. ' ' He i took a taxi home and. found her in a state of delirium from which she lapsed i into unconsciousness and died next day. j At the first sitting of the inquest j mention was made of the finding' of a 1 bottle whieh had contained insecticide i for garden use. However, the medicai evidence to-day showed that the eanse 1 of death was aeute miliary tujbereulosis ' and toxi nephritis in one of her organs. ; The coroner, Mr Hunt, returned a ; verdict accordingly.
