Aorangi and H.B. Fajrmers' Trophy Match Oompeting for a trophy preaented by Mr. A. G. Balfour, a rdturn golf match between teams representative of the Aorangi Golf Club and the Hawke's Bav Farmers' Co-op. Association Ltd., was played on the Napier Golf Club's ^ourse at Waiohiki on Thursday afternoon. The results of the games were as follow, Aorangi players being mentioned hrst : — O. Clarkson and R. P. Kay lost to R. \ esty and H. O. Barlow, FI. Simmons and G. Sanderson lost to It. AV. Dalgleisli and L. L. Forest. J. Graham and Mrs. R. P. Kay lost to G. Kelly and E. J. PhiJlips. A. P. Dasent and L. R, Averili lost to C. Atkinsou and H. E. Douglas. M. P. Averili and W. A. Whyte defeated C. Canning and H. V. Hoadley. A. G. Balfour and W. Johnston lost to .J. Yesty and B. Cato. The first match for the trophy, played at Aorangi, was wou by the Aorangi Club by three and a-half games to two find a-half, the final result of the two matches being a win ' for the Hawke's Bay Fanncrs' team by seven and a-half games to £our and a-hflf,
