Exports of New Zealand oheese for the season ended July 31 were 85,169 tons, compared wlth 88,928 tons in 193536 and 89 812 'tons in 1934-35. The increased output for the past season was 1241 tons, or approximately 1.4 per cent. The increase is particularly en* couraging in view of the tendency in recent years for production to dedine. Shipments for the year ended July 31 totalled 149,003 tons, an increase of 5.3 per cent. over the previoua record tonnage of 141,448i shipped in the 1935-36 season.
