Woods Defeats Blomiield

CHRISTCHURCH, Last_ Night. In a terrific barrage of - jolts and punches Woods beat Blomfield in a. world challenge elimination wrestling bout this evening by two fialls to, one. The contest was hectic fOr six and a-half rounds, both maintaining a tremendous pace. After three rounds of jolting and punching, Woods hurled Blomfield across the ring twice and then dropped him in a heavy dump for a fall. Blomfield threw Woods over the ropes in the sixth round before rushing in with a f lying trip from" which he rapidly developed his octopus clamp, Woods submitting quicSly. The ond came in the seventh round when Blomfield had Woods groggy. The latter released a barrage of tremendous jolts, the last of which sent Blomfield flying through the ropes, and ho was nnable to return, having to b« assisted away.
