Windsors at Berlin Garden Settiement TALKS WITH OCCUPANTS

(Beceived 14, 10.45 a.m.) BEBLIN, Oet. 13. The Duke and Duchess of Windsor tdured the gardon settlements on the outskirts of the city. They were greeted by swnrms of cheering children, who clamoured for autographs. The visitors eptered the houses and talked with the oecupaiits. oue of whom said ho paid a rent of 50 shillings a month. the house and garden becoming his own property in 15 years, The Dulce and Duchess also drove through the Siemenstadt. again calling at houses whare the housewives explained the conditions. They concluded the visit by inspecting the Olympic stadium. after which they were entertained at dinner by Herr von Kibbentrop and his wife. The Duke and Duchess intend to give a gala dinnor when they reach Nuremberg to return the hospitality received in Gefmany. The first editorial reference to the visit will appear in to-morrow's Allgemeine Zeitung. It says: "The word is going round that there is something wor while to be seen in Germany. Now the Duke of Windsor, too, has come to convinco bimself of the energy with which the new Germiany has tackled a social problem "
