Mr. Percy Cubitt, after spending a holiday in Wellington, is returning tb Hastings b'y the mail train to-night. Mr.. C. L. Barry jeft Hastings this morning, having been transferred on promotion to tho. railway station at Marton. Mr. T. B. Fergugon. manager of Blythes . Ltd., Napier, left this morning for Wellington, where he will joiu the Awatea for Australia on a month's visit. Mr. L, A. P. Sherriff, of Taihape, was last night re-elected president of .tho N.Z. Aberdeen-Angus Cattlo Breeders * Association. Mr. T. May. of Waipawa, was re-elected vice-president. Mr. L Langdon Prime has resigned the secretaryship of tho Napier Retailefs' Association. He indicated at tho meeting on Tuesday that ho would continue the duties of secretary until the vacancy was filled.
