Ltd., Napier, left this morning for Wellington, where he will joiu the Awatea for Australia on a month's visit. Mr. L, A. P. Sherriff, of Taihape, was last night re-elected president of .tho N.Z. Aberdeen-Angus Cattlo Breeders * Association. Mr. T. May. of Waipawa, was re-elected vice-president. Mr. L Langdon Prime has resigned the secretaryship of tho Napier Retailefs' Association. He indicated at tho meeting on Tuesday that ho would continue the duties of secretary until the vacancy was filled.
