Annual Meeting Held The annual general meeting of the Ongaonga Sports Club was held in the Local public hall. There was a fair at* tendance of members who wero presid* ed over by Mr D. Hoiden. The annual report on the year's activities was unanimously approved and adopted. The club finished the veai with a small credit balance, althougb there was a deiicit on the sports meeting held on January l, 1937. It was decided to hold the usual sports gathering on January 1, 1938. The followirig were olected as officera for the ensuing year:— Patron, Mr B Gray; president, Mr J. Bibby; hon. surgeon, Dr. T. Seton Norris; vice-pre-sidents, Messrs H. Hardy, E. S. Bibbv G. Fletcher, C. E. T. Woods, G. Living' fiton H. White, C. Wyley, G. Gunson and T. P. Sullivan; general eommittee Messrs E. C. Bradley. W. Pettit, T Bibby, W. Masters, J. Pettit, R. Dassler, p. Hansen, M. Nicolaidi, J. MeBeay, O. G. H^irris, .7. Beaehen, W. Kreemantle, J, F. Bell, A. Bibby, D. . Hoiden, F. Froemantle. Bert Free- | oiantle, W. J. Buehanari and B. Dassler i The eleetion of a. seeretary was theu j 'liscussed, and Mr B. Dassler had in tunated his inability to carry on in the positiou for this season. It 'was found that it was impossiblo to obtain a so cretary and several proposals were pul forward. It was unanimously agreed to approach another club for the next sports meeting. • .
