EUGBY, Oct 11. The term of appointment of Sir Herbert WilLara' Emerson as Governor of tbe Punjab expires in April. He will tkereafter proceed on six months' leave. The King has approved of the reappointment of Sir Herbert for a further tvvo years from the expiry of kis leave. Sir Herbert has been Governor of the t'unjab since 1933
