NAPIER MEETING
Nominations on November 1 • ■ The Napier Park Racing Club's spring meeting will be held this year on Saturday, Navember 13. This date is later than usual, but it will be founcl no doubt that the change will be altpgether in the club's favpur. The programme comprises fleven events, with a total stake mpney of £77 5, 310 race being of less value than 100 sovs. The club has ten loose-boxes on the course which will be available to trainers free of cliarge. Tbe i'orthcomixig meeting wjll be tlie first at which the recentjy-appointed seeretary, Miss I. I. Fippard, will be in cliarge. Miss Fippard has a lengthy experience as assistant seeretary in connection witli tlie Hawke's Bay Joekey Club's race meetings, and is certain to fill lier new position with eredit to herself and satisfaction to the club. Nominatintis elose on Monday, Navember 1. Tbe new offices of the club are upstairs jn tho Bowman Buildings, Markat street.
